Garden Reverie
Presenting Our #MZBride Spotlight: Surrounded by blooming gardens, soft brick pathways, and a glass conservatory hidden beneath towering trees, Rebecca’s wedding felt like stepping into a modern-day secret garden - refined, romantic, and effortlessly cinematic. Every detail, from the sculptural floral installations to the airy greenhouse reception glowing with woven lanterns and candlelight, created an atmosphere of quiet luxury and natural beauty.

In our Ayla gown, Rebecca embodied a striking balance of artistry and elegance. The modern A-line silhouette, adorned with floral-inspired cutouts, created a delicate interplay of light and texture with every movement. With its sculpted fitted bodice and voluminous skirt, Ayla brought together contemporary design and timeless femininity - bold enough to make a statement, yet refined in the most effortless way.

Set against the organic beauty of her celebration, Rebecca’s bridal look became a portrait of modern romance: ethereal, architectural, and deeply unforgettable.
How did you know your Mira Zwillinger dress was ‘the one’?

I went to Mandy Jackson in Atlanta with my mom and my sister just to look but had a trip booked to New York for dress shopping. I had tried on about 15+ gowns at other stores as well. I was about to leave and my sister pulled a dress out from behind her and said try this last one. I tried it on (sample from the runway and it almost fit perfectly which made me really able to envision it, but don’t put that anywhere haha I just wanted you all to know!) I walked out of the fitting room and we all started crying because it was just BEYOND perfect and very ME which was very important to me. Also, very fun because my sister was a Mira bride and my best friend who got married three weeks before me got a Mira dress (same collection) as well which I helped her pick out so we knew they were being made together and probably being touched with care by the same hands and we thought that was very special!

What was most important to you when choosing your wedding gown – and why?

I already touched on this but that when people saw me they were like wow that’s a Rebecca dress and that’s exactly what happened! I love fashion and thought I wanted togo very fashion forward and different and there were aspects of that in my dress but also so timeless and simple in a way. When my husband Will saw me he cried but also said “wow that’s so you” which made me SO happy. I also wanted to be comfortable and not tugging at anything

How did you feel when you tried on your Mira Zwillinger gown for the first time - after it was custom - made to your exact measurements?

It was emotional and I missed the dress every time I had to leave the store after trying on MY dress. Haha I wanted to go try it on everyday!

What’s one thing you learned during the process of finding your gown – that you’d love future brides to know?

Be patient and try on dresses that you never thought you’d wear even though the dress Ichose was very me I didn’t think I wanted appliqué but the tiny straps and low back isactually something I drew when I was little of how I wanted my wedding dress to lookone day, that was also so fun!

What are 3 tips you’d give to any bride planning her big day?

Take deep breathes, understand you’ll never get to do it again (hopefully) and that comewedding day everything is going to work out just the way it should and no one knows thelittle things that went wrong except for you, your mom and planner. Be able to expressyour stress and that you’re overwhelmed if needed, be patient with everyone helping inthe process, be kind and be thankful!!

If you had matching accessories (like a veil or topper), how did they enhance your bridal look and bring your vision to life?

I did a very simple long veil that had a thick hem along the edges with a blusher that I was in love with because it didn’t overwhelm the dress and was so beautiful and perfect with the dress in my opinion. Made it very traditional to me which I loved!

Looking back, is there one mistake you made during the planning process – and what would you recommend future brides to avoid?

I’m so lucky to say I was blessed enough to have my parents home as the venue and an incredible planner (Tara Guerard) so there really weren’t mistakes… maybe procrastination on finding outfits for my other events but it all worked out!!
