How did you know your dress was 'the one’?Â
I went into the wedding dress process with so many Mira dresses on my Pinterest board. When I tried on
a version of my dress, I felt the most ME in it, the most comfortable. I was also really inspired and excited by the process of creating a custom gown. My amazing mom Lisa, stylist Gabrielle Hurwitz, and Nadia at NWLA Bridal were also a big part of the process and helped me know this dress was the one!
How did you start planning your wedding? What were the first steps?
My husband and I started by creating Pinterest inspiration boards, asking friends for party planner
recommendations, and researching the best party planners in the LA/Southern California area. The first
step was hiring Smith + James Events. After that, we started venue searching, and exploring vendors.
3 tips that you would give to all our future brides
1. It all comes back to your connection with your fiancé. Always go back to your connection, and the
intention of the day.
2. Pick the dress you feel the most like yourself in. You want to look and feel like yourself on such a special day.
3. Do your best to find the fun in the whole process, stress a little less. It truly all works out!
How did you find working with the bridal store team?
Working with the team at NWLA Bridal was the best. Everything was seamless.
What was your wedding theme?
Classic Chic Understated Elegance with a European Flare plus funky tracks and natural wine. Hard to sum up the magic we felt this day in one theme but it was truly MAGICAL!
The glamorous gown, Timmy, redefines sophistication with a modern edge. Crafted from the same custom-engineered lace as its sister gown, Asti, it features a striking deep V-neckline that exudes confidence and allure. The slim-fitted silhouette hugs the body beautifully, transitioning into a flowing skirt made primarily of rich, plain tulle, offering a soft yet dramatic contrast to the detailed bodice.
Timmy stands out with its intricate inner lace layer, delicately woven with shimmering elements that catch the light subtly, adding a touch of magic to its design. The bodice is adorned with abstract flowers and leaves lace combined with crystal beadwork, lending a contemporary, luxurious texture that perfectly balances opulence and modern artistry. A dramatic asymmetrical belt made from the same rich materials accentuates the waist, adding a bold and distinctive element to the design.
