How did you know your Mira Zwillinger dress was ‘the one’?
I was lucky enough to try on many beautiful dresses, but when I pictured the day, the venue and standing at the altar with my husband, I could only see myself with my Mira dress
What was most important to you when choosing your wedding gown – and why?
I wanted a dress that I would feel beautiful in and also whereI still felt like myself (and could dance all night!) I wanted it to be timeless and beautiful while also feeling unique to me
How did you feel when you tried on your Mira Zwillinger gown for the first time — after it was custom-made to your exact measurements?
I was actually surprised how much I loved it ! The dress had just arrived at Mark Ingram and actually another bride was trying it on while we went to try on our first few options. Then luckily the woman assisting us said she thought I should try one that someone else was trying on and it could be fantastic!
What’s one thing you learned during the process of finding your gown — that you’d love future brides to know?
That it should be fun! Bring with you whoever will make you feel supported and make the day one to remember
 What are 3 tips you’d give to any bride planning her big day?
Don’t stress the small things as when it comes to the day of , they melt into the big picture and joy and happiness. I also personally loved doing a first look with my husband to be able to have that moment with just him and then also be able to spend the time with our closest friends /wedding party in the time leading up to the ceremony. Everyone was relaxed and having a great time!
If you had matching accessories (like a veil or topper), how did they enhance your bridallook and bring your vision to life?
There was no question in my mind that I would also wear the Jase veil to complete the full bridal look! It was so beautifully crafted and I loved the shorter length
Looking back, is there one mistake you made during the planning process — and what would you recommend future brides to avoid?
Don’t add extra stress about what others will think or what they’d prefer! This is your day and should reflect you and your partner
