1. How did you know your Mira Zwillinger dress was the one?
When I tried it on and everyone who was there gasped!
2. What was most important to you when choosing your wedding gown and why?
Making sure I felt comfortable in the dress and felt like myself!
3. How did you feel when you tried on your Mira Zwillinger gown for the first time after it was custom made to your exact measurements?
Fit like a dream! I remember months had gone by before I was able to try it on again. It was like a new surprise getting to see it again and trying it on!
4. What is one thing you learned during the process of finding your gown that you would love future brides to know?
Don't try to fit your dress to the venue. YOU make the venue! Colony at Warren Barron told me this and it was so helpful!
5. What are 3 tips you would give to any bride planning her big day?
- A planner – I cannot stress the amount of help and decision making a planner was able to help! My mom, husband and myself weren’t stressed and were able to enjoy the process and of course the wedding weekend!
- Enjoy the process as much as you can! Even if you have a long engagement, the time really does fly by during the planning process!
- Don’t stress over the little things, you are likely the only person that would even notice!
6. If you had matching accessories like a veil or topper, how did they enhance your bridal look and bring your vision to life?
I had the shoulder veil attachment and a long cathedral veil as well. I love the drama and I feel like it just added the dress and made a different look a few times!
7. Looking back, is there one mistake you made during the planning process and what would you recommend future brides to avoid?
Luckily, I wouldn’t change a thing about the process or the day! It was an absolute dream and everything I could have imagined!
