Elegance in White: A Whimsical Modern Romance
Presenting Our #MZBride Spotlight: Allow us to introduce Diana Betlej, the radiant bride who graced our elegant custom Chaz gown featuring a square neckline. Accompanied by beloved friends and family, Diana and her partner celebrated their momentous day at the stunning Arlington Estate venue.

Keep an eye out for an enlightening interview with Diana, where she'll divulge her wedding planning journey and offer exclusive tips to help you turn your own wedding dreams into a reality!
How did you start planning your wedding? What were the first steps?

The very first step of my wedding planning journey was contacting my incredible wedding planner, Ashley Pigott. She had planned my best friend's wedding the year prior to me getting engaged and I knew she would be the perfect fit to plan the wedding of my dreams!

Ashley worked out every detail of the wedding perfectly which made the day perfect for my husband and I.
How did you know your dress was 'the one’?
As soon as I tried on the Chaz gown I knew it was going to be the one with a few personal tweaks!

I always envisioned myself getting married in a square neckline and knew that the amazing team at Powder Bridal in Toronto as well as the Mira Zwillinger team could make this vision come to life - and that is exactly what both teams did and I couldn't be happier.
How did you find working with the bridal store team?
I loved working with Adriana and the team at Powder Bridal.

Every detail of the dress and the veil was so well thought out. This was the very first square neck Mira dress at Powder so Adriana ensured that vision would come to life perfectly.
Advices that you would give to our future brides?
1. Don't sweat the small stuff! The day is going to be perfect no matter what. Enjoy every minute because the day goes by so quickly.

2. This is advice our married friends gave us before the wedding and told us to be present in the moment. Don't just go through the motions of pictures and speeches and the dancing but truly relish every moment! Also, have a bridesmaid or groomsmen who will take pictures and videos for you so when you wake up the day after the wedding you have those memories right away and don't have to wait on the professional videos and photos.

3. Have alone time with each other. During cocktail hour my husband and I had a few minutes to ourselves and it was so special to be together and enjoy being husband and wife after saying 'I do'.

What was your wedding theme?
The wedding theme would be described as white, whimsical, and romantic with a modern twist. It was truly a dream wedding dancing the night away under suspended white roses.

The room was filled with white florals and tall crystal candlesticks. Guests were greeted with the most stunning all white floral blossom tree at the entrance. The day could not have been any more perfect!
