Presenting Our #MZBride Spotlight: Allow us to introduce Avery E Campbell, the gorgeous bride who not only chose our elegant custom Karla gown but curated an entire look with matching Gigi topper and Gigi robe — a total ensemble that spoke to her unique vision of bridal glamour.

In the following interview, Avery shares with us how she started planning her wedding journey and will give you her exclusive tips!
How did you start planning your wedding? What were the first steps?

I always knew I wanted to have the reception in my grandmothers backyard. I love the movie father of the bride and her home is such a special place to me and across the street from the church where I grew up so we booked the church, got our photographer (John Cain) and started planning!
How did you know your dress was 'the one’?

I had followed your brand on Instagram and saw the Karla gown posted and knew it was probably the dress I would end up picking. I tried on many dresses and nothing fit quite like a Mira dress, it was so lightweight, ethereal, and elegant. When I realized I could add a long sleeve topper, I was sold.

How did you find working with the bridal store team?
They were incredible. Karen Clarke at Neiman's Marcus Bridal in Dallas was amazing!!
Advices that you would give to our future brides?
1. I would tell future brides to find a dress that they feel themselves in and beautiful. I was able to feel so calm and beautiful because I felt myself in my dress!

2. Get a planner who you trust, Ann Pittman is our hero and helped us every step of the way.

3. Use vendors whose work you admire and let them use their creative vision!

4. Remember it’s just a season, and your marriage after the wedding is even more beautiful than the wedding!
What was your wedding theme?
The wedding theme would be described as Backyard garden party!!
