How did you know your Mira Zwillinger dress was ‘the one’?
I had been eyeing Mira Zwillinger gowns for years and followed their stunning pieces on Instagram before I even got engaged. When I tried on the dress, it felt surreal — I got teary-eyed, and so did my family. In that moment, I just knew, and I didn’t need to try on another gown.

What was most important to you when choosing your wedding gown — and why?

I wanted a gown that made me feel beautiful and confident — but also comfortable. I knew I’d be in it all day, from the ceremony to hours of dancing and celebrating, so it had to move with me and not against me. Despite how grand the gown looked, it was very lightweight & breathable.

How did you feel when you tried on your Mira Zwillinger gown for the first time — after it was custom-made to your exact measurements?

I was over the moon! The gown fit like a dream — we only needed to make the smallest adjustments. It truly felt like it was made just for me.

What’s one thing you learned during the process of finding your gown — that you’d love future brides to know?

It helps to have a vision — whether it’s a specific designer, silhouette, or even a budget — but keep an open mind. The Kresta gown was actually a wild card picked by my stylist, Mindy — the only dress I didn’t choose myself — and it ended up being the one. Trust the process and be open to surprises!

What are 3 tips you’d give to any bride planning her big day?

  1. It’s easy to get lost in the details, but don’t forget to enjoy the planning process. At the heart of it all, this is a celebration of love.
  2. It’s normal to get advice from friends & family throughout the planning process, but don’t let too many opinions drown out your own voice. You and your partner’s vision is what matters most.
  3. A happy bride is the most beautiful bride. Confidence and genuine happiness shine through more than anything else.

If you had matching accessories (like a veil or topper), how did they enhance your bridal look and bring your vision to life?

I chose the matching Kresta veil, and it completely elevated the entire look. It felt like petals were cascading off the dress — ethereal, elegant, and dramatic all at once. It pulled everything together in the most magical way.

Looking back, is there one mistake you made during the planning process — and what would you recommend future brides to avoid?

Impulse decisions! It’s easy to feel pressured to say yes right away, especially when emotions are high. But it’s okay to take your time and explore your options. That said — when you do know, you’ll really know.
