Elegant fairytale
Presenting Our #MZBride Spotlight: In a setting that felt like a secret escape to Italy, nestled in the heart of Atlanta’s Buckhead, our breathtaking bride Alison stepped into her real-life fairytale at a historic garden estate that radiates timeless romance — a celebration where elegance met modern magic.

Wearing the magnificent Jolli gown, with its show-stopping, dramatically long train, she embodied pure grandeur and grace. Every detail of the day whispered sophistication, but her gown made a statement that was unforgettable. From the serene beauty of the venue to the dreamlike atmosphere, this wedding was the perfect blend of quiet romance and couture drama — and the Jolli gown was the ultimate finishing touch.

Step into her fairytale, get inspired, and immerse yourself in the full story on the blog!
How did you know your dress was 'the one'?

I truly think I tried on 100 dresses and had started to narrow in on the style and was in love with the Deep V neckline. When Mira Zwillinger released her new collection on April 2nd, 2024 my Mom and I immediately called each other and said this just might be the one - we were so excited to try it on at the Mark Ingram trunk show on April 6th, 2024. My mom flew in from Atlanta to come see the Jolli gown and our jaws dropped. It fit like a glove and we could not contain our excitement. It was such a special experience to meet Mira and Lihi in the store and get their live thoughts and opinions. Everyone was just beaming and smiling ear to ear. It was a "wow"!

How did you start planning your wedding? What were the first steps?

The first step was picking out a venue and time of year. I was dreaming of an outdoor wedding and fell in love with the Atlanta History Center, it truly felt like Italy was brought to the Atlanta Buckhead area. It was quiet, beautiful and romantic. Although March can be a bit of a risky weather season in Atlanta we were willing to take the risk and picked March, 22 2025!
What did you feel when you tried on your custom gown for the first time?
When I tried on the gown for the first time, I felt like a princess and that is exactly how I felt when I wore
it on my wedding day. It was actually a very emotional situation. My grandfather actually bought me my dress on April 6th, 2024 and he was so proud - he lived in San Diego so we Facetimed him and showed him the dress and sent him so many pictures. For the months leading up to my wedding, he would constantly ask me when it was coming and wanted to see pictures. A few weeks before my wedding he started to fall pretty sick and ultimately passed away the week of my wedding. He never got to see my beautiful dress in person but I know he was smiling down. The entire night he was with me and I was so
proud to be wearing the dress that he bought me. It is something I will never ever forget and made the dress even more special and important to me.

3 advice and tips that you would give to all our future brides?

1. Be patient and trust the process!

2. Find the dress where you feel like yourself and the best version of yourself!

3. Buy the dress for you-don’t worry about what other people think

If you had to describe your wedding theme, what name would you give?

I would say timeless and elegant with a modern twist. It was a fairytale and a dream come true.

In what way did the matching accessories (e.g. matching veil, gloves) bring yourbridal vision to life alongside your gown?

Mira made the most beautiful veil for my dress. I did not want to take away fromthe dress and wanted a plain veil-Mira put matching flowers in the hair piece to madd a little unique touch. Every single detail is thought out and perfection

The centerpiece of our SS25 collection, JOLLI brings MZ to new horizons. Our deep V-neck shape has been reengineered with our signature structured mesh to mold to the bride’s body without boning. The skirt is remarkable in its length and incorporates all the volume of a ballgown with none of the weight. The front pleats are sewn such that they fall perfectly in place at all times and give the illusion of movement.
