Ocean Bloom: A Wedding at Chileno Bay
Introducing Our #MZBride: Addison’s wedding at Chileno Bay Auberge was a sunlit symphony of love, sea breeze, and modern Mexican charm. Set against the soft shimmer of Baja’s coastline, her day unfolded with heartfelt intimacy and couture-level elegance.

Addison wore a custom variation of our Natta gown, reimagined exclusively for her. With its ethereal textures and hand-placed floral details, the gown captured the perfect balance between contemporary romance and timeless femininity. Light danced through every petal as she moved, reflecting the serenity of the ocean and the quiet power of her presence.

From the custom silhouette to the tranquil setting, every detail of Addison’s day was a tribute to personal expression and refined beauty. Join us as we step inside her unforgettable celebration—and the one-of-a-kind gown that brought her vision to life.

How did you know your Mira Zwillinger dress was ‘the one’

The moment I put on the dress, I knew it was the one. It was everything I had ever dreamed
of and somehow even more. I remember looking in the mirror and feeling this overwhelming
sense of calm and excitement all at once, like it was truly meant for me. The gown captured the perfect balance of who I am: girly and fun, yet also timeless and elegant.

One of my favorite details was the belt with the bow, it was unlike anything I had ever seen and added such a cool, playful touch to an otherwise classic silhouette. Every detail felt intentional, from the delicate texture to the way it moved when I walked. I could instantly picture myself walking down the aisle in it, and that’s when I knew there was no other dress that could compare.
What was most important to you when choosing your wedding gown and why?

The most important part of choosing my wedding gown was that it felt like me. I’ve been dreaming about my wedding dress for as long as I can remember, so finding the right one was such a special and emotional part of the process. I wanted it to feel like it was made just for me, something that reflected my personality, my style, and the feeling I wanted on that day. More than anything, I wanted a gown that felt unique and different from anything I had ever seen before, yet still timeless and effortlessly beautiful. When I finally found it, I just knew it was everything I had envisioned and more.

How did you feel when you tried on your Mira Zwillinger gown for the first time after it was
custom-made to your exact measurements?
I couldn’t believe how perfectly it fit me. I had heard so many stories of brides needing multiple fittings and major adjustments, so I was prepared for that. But when I put on my gown for the first time, it felt like it was truly made for me. Every detail was flawless, and it fit like a glove. I was so happy with how beautifully it came together and so relieved that only the tiniest tweaks were needed.

What’s one thing you learned during the process of finding your gown that you’d love future brides to know?

My biggest advice is to make sure you see all your options before committing! I was convinced I had found the one at the very first store I went to, I even took a photo with the ‘I said yes to the dress’ sign. Coincidentally, that gown was also a Mira Zwillinger design! But my mom encouraged me to keep my other appointments, and I’m so grateful she did. If I hadn’t gone, I never would have found my dress, the one I truly fell in love with later that day. Nothing compared once I put it on, and I knew instantly it was meant to be.

What are 3 tips you’d give to any bride planning her big day
?

  1. Stay true to your vision: There are so many opinions and trends that can influence youthroughout the planning process, but the most meaningful weddings are the ones that feelauthentic to you as a couple. Every decision should reflect your style and story.
  2. Don’t get lost in the details: It’s easy to stress about small things, but on the day itself, those tiny imperfections fade away. What you’ll remember most is the emotion, the love, and the energy around you, not whether every detail went perfectly.
  3. Soak it all in: The day goes by faster than you can imagine. Take a few moments with your partner to pause, breathe, and take it all in. Look around at all the people who came to celebrate your love. It’s the most incredible feeling in the world.

If you had matching accessories (like a veil or topper), how did they enhance your bridal look and bring your vision to life?

I worea veil, and the moment I put it on, everything suddenly felt real. It completed the lookin such a timeless and romantic way, tying together the elegance of my gown and theemotion of the day. It was that final touch that truly made me feel like a bride.

Looking back, is there one mistake you made during the planning process and what would you recommend future brides to avoid?

If I could change one thing, it would be reminding myself not to stress over things that were out of my control. It is so easy to get caught up in the small details, but at the end of the day, everything comes together exactly as it is meant to. My advice to future brides is to trust the process, enjoy every moment, and remember that the day is about the two of you as a couple & your love, not perfection
