Glamorous Hawaii Enchanted Wedding
Our #MZBride of the week is the absolutely stunning Shannon Casey who got married in our Verona gown. Surrounded by their friends and family, the couple held their gorgeous wedding at the Four Seasons in Maui, Hawaii,

In the following interview, Shannon shares with us how she started planning her wedding journey and will give you her exclusive tips!
How did you start planning your wedding? What were the first steps?
My husband and I both have fond childhood memories of traveling to the Four Seasons in Maui, Hawaii, so our first step was settling on their ocean front lawn for our main wedding venue.

My husband worked in London for 7 years and we have friends all over the world, so we decided to make it a 4-day affair so everyone could make a vacation out of our wedding and really enjoy themselves.

Then we decided on light blue for the 10 bridesmaids' dresses and light blue for the 10 groomsmens' ties. We both love blue and grew up in beach towns in southern California near gorgeous blue waters.

I also love pink so we had elements of light pink sprinkled in flowers and the bow on our flower girl's dress was pink.
How did you know your dress was 'the one’?
Mira's Verona gown is chic, ethereal, gorgeous, and feminine.

When I put it on, I felt like I was walking in a masterful piece of art. I love all the carefully hand-sewn flowers.

I tried on tons of gowns, and my mother and bridesmaids all helped me realize that the Verona gown was "the one."

How did you find working with the bridal store team?
I live in Santa Monica near where NWLA is located.

Nadia, the store owner, was caring and wonderful throughout the whole process.
An advice that you would give to our future brides?
My best advice to all future Mira brides is to relish every minute wearing your dress, take lots of photos, and be thankful you get to wear such a high-end designer dress for your wedding!

What was your wedding theme?
Our wedding theme was glamourous, romantic, formal and dreamy with a touch of magic.

We created an enchanting outdoor "ballroom" on the Four Season's ocean front lawn complete with 5 large crystal chandeliers, string lights, tons of white and light pink roses and peonies, and multiple spark fountains that went off throughout the night.

We also had a saxophone player and drummer in addition to a DJ which added an extra layer of excitement.
