'Reflections' at the Cutting Edge

Glass sculpture is the inspiration for Mira Zwillinger’s new Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, titled “Reflections”.

Mira’s new collection was inspired by the glass sculptures of Czech artist Václav Cigler. She decided to create clothes which appear to have the sharp angles and reflective facets of panes of glass but which are actually made from the softest fabrics. Using silk georgette, raw silk, chiffon and silk organza, leather and wool, the Reflections collection gives the impression of beams of light reflecting on multi-faceted surfaces.
